Born in Laurens, S.C., Ryan Smith graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta in 1997 specializing in architectural photography. Following a move to Savannah he began photographing weddings in 2000, and started Ryan Smith Weddings in 2006. Then the economy tanked, and he "retired" from the photography biz and is pursuing a teaching degree in middle school English. Pray for him.
